Immigration LevelIn 2006 and 2011, Sydney had the largest amount of immigration settlers with a total of 252,000 of them (30% of the nationals total). In the picture on the LEFT, it shows that 52% of the settlers that arrived were skilled, 40% were family reunion migrants and the rest (8%) were humanitarian migrants (all including refugees). New South Wales immigrants come from a bigger variety of countries than any other state in the world, with a total of 223 different nations. Most come from China, India not far behind, and people from all over the Middle East coming third. Sydney is a very multicultural city and accepts people from all over the world. Another reason to live in Sydney.

Environmental Sustainablity |
Everyday, Sydney is working to make its environment more sustainable. Making more and more Green Villages to make a healthier environment and the daily additions of new animals and plants, meaning that Sydney is in its healthiest state right now. Sydney are also bringing in all sorts of new bins so that whenever you have rubbish, you will have a bin right next to you. Sydney is working everyday to make it a happier and healthier environment.
